Imaginary creatures

Children were given starting point of animals which live in trees; we discussed what these animals need to survive, inspiring ideas as well as exploring the animal kingdom.  During making children had to consider what each part of the body was needed for in their creatures. At the end we talked about each others animals in groups.

Children encouraged to improvise and use natural materials around them to decorate their animals.
